Jim Hodges is a contemporary sculptor and installation artist from America. Today he lives and works in New York City.

Painting was the artist's original medium, from which he increasingly moved away in favor of sculptures and installations. Jim Hodge's artworks and editions oscillate between abstraction and figurative representations, which in an impressive way thematize subjects such as fragility, transience, love and death. For the realization of these contents Jim Hodges uses a variety of materials, which he always arranges with exact precision. The artist uses found materials, such as rocks or fabrics, and combines them in a creative way with media such as photography as well as silkscreen prints.

Hodges' artworks and editions have been exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions in America and Europe.
