The original graphic 'The Mastaba - 1240 Oil Barrels' by Christo is like fresh from the press and in flawless state. The original graphic shows and is a part of the art project '1240 Oil Barrels Mastaba' that took place at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia in 1968. The Mastaba (Egyptian form of pyramids) was made of 1240 oil drums in different colours and was built in the atrium of the museum. It was the first big Mastaba-Installation by Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
The art edition of heavy rag paper has a sheet size of 22.8 x 17.7 in and is handsigned and numbered. The last available artwork has the number 49 from an edition of 60 copies.
