Biography
Contemporary artist Tom Anholt was born in Bath, England in 1987 and grew up in Dorset. He grew up in a creative family environment. Both his mother and father painted and made a living writing children's books.
Anholt studied at Falmouth College of Art, Konstfack in Stockholm, and Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. After graduation, he moved to Berlin, where he has resided ever since.
His work includes colorful paintings, drawings and watercolors. His formal language moves between mosaic-like, kaleidoscopic forms and motifs and collage-like elements as well as densely constructed surfaces and complex compositions.
Anholt has presented his works in numerous international group and solo exhibitions. In 2018, he participated in the exhibition KNOWN/UNKNOWNS at the Saatchi Gallery in London, among others.
